Proposed Single House Addition (Retaining Walls and Outbuilding) at 18, Myrlea Trail, Alkimos (DA2021/1311)

The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 15 October 2021.

The application seeks retrospective approval for existing retaining and for a proposed (not existing) outbuilding / shed at 18 Myrlea Trail, Alkimos (to the north west of your property). The retaining measures 1.61 metres in height and setback 1.48 metres from the rear boundary of the subject site. Vegetation screening is proposed as part of the application along the southern lot boundary and a portion of the eastern lot boundary. The outbuilding is proposed to sit atop the retrospective retaining and is setback of 1.8 metres from the southern boundary and approximately 1.37m from the eastern lot boundary. The outbuilding measures 2 metres to the gutter from the retained level on the southernmost side and  gradually increases in height to 3.74m at the front of the outbuilding which faces north towards Myrlea Trail.
