Proposed Child Care Centre Development at 7 Cushing Road Alkimos (DA2021/2063)
The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 16 February 2022.
The established Child Care Centre premises at 1 Cushing Road, Alkimos (Panda Early Leaning Centre) and has experienced a high demand for the service. This application proposes to construct an expansion of the Child Care Centre to accommodate fifty one (51) additional children.
This application proposes a Child Care Centre with the following elements:
- A maximum number of 51
children on site at any one time, within the following age demographics:
- 16 places for Babies (0-2 years)
- 15 places for Toddlers (2-3 years); and
- 20 places for children aged 3-5 years. - A total of 14 on-site
car bays which includes one marked disabled car parking bay;
- A maximum number of 8
staff members on site at any one time; and
- Proposed hours of operation
from Monday to Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm and Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm.
