What approvals do I need? - Grouped dwellings
|Description||A dwelling that is one of a group of two (2) or more dwellings on the same lot, such that no dwelling is placed wholly or partly vertically above another (except where special conditions of landscape or topography dictate otherwise), and includes a dwelling on a survey strata with common property.|
|Do I need approval?||
Planning Approval is required in all circumstances where one (1) or more grouped dwellings are proposed on a lot. Should it be required, planning approval must be obtained prior to a building permit being issued.
A Building Permit is always required for grouped dwellings.
