This project has been funded under the Australian Government’s Local Roads & Community Infrastructure Program – Phase 2. This program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic. This project will provide a new 3 metre wide quality red asphalt shared footpath for a distance of 750 metres along the west side of Lisford Avenue from Marcon Street to Sovereign Drive, Two Rocks. The introduction of a new path will provide improved access and encourage active travel modes within the City of Wanneroo’s path network. Due to works in progress for the Atlantis redevelopment, footpaths will be completed in two parts - south and then north.
