Key Facts

This project has been funded under the Australian Government’s Local Roads & Community Infrastructure Program – Phase 2.

This program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic.

This project will result in existing bus stops being upgraded to include stand-alone bus shelters to provide patrons with some protection from the weather.

Works will include a steel mesh shelter and in most cases, upgrades to the hard stand, connecting footpaths and crossing points.

It is proposed that six (6) bus stop locations will be identified for upgrade. Confirmation of locations will be subject to feedback received via the community consultation process.

Current list of proposed locations which are subject to community consultation:

  • Koondoola
Stop number 12507 on Mirrabooka Avenue, after Koondoola Avenue
  • Marangaroo
Stop number 12462 on Giralt Road, before Bicknor Street
