Key Facts |
This project has been funded under the Australian Government’s Local Roads & Community Infrastructure Program – Phase 3. The Kingsway Indoor Stadium toilet & change room upgrade project was made possible through $285,300 funding from the Australian Government through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program. This program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Kingsway Indoor Stadium was constructed in 1997. As part of the ongoing renewal and upgrade work, the toilets and change rooms have been identified for refurbishment in order to improve the standard of service and customer experience at the facility. These works will include replacement of fixtures and fittings, lighting improvements, repairs to tiling and painting of walls and ceilings. This phase of the project will comprise the refurbishment of the ground floor toilets and change rooms. |
