Due to a supplier shortage 360 litre recycling bins are unavailable until further notice, any new bin requests will automatically receive a 240 litre bin.
Congratulations on the practical completion of your new house. This request lets you order new bins for your property.
The City of Wanneroo has a three-bin system, a:
- red lid general waste bin
- yellow lid recycling bin, and
- lime-green lid garden organics bin.
All new houses receive a general waste bin and a recycling bin, also properties:
- 400m² or larger will automatically receive a garden organics bin.
- Smaller than 400m² can opt-in for an organics bin or remain on a two-bin system where garden waste goes in the general waste bin.
Your new bin request will be processed during business hours Monday to Friday and delivery is between 6am and 3pm within 5 business days of completing this request.
To continue with lodging this request, you must be the owner or managing agent of the property. If you are a managing agent, you need to submit a management authority with the request.
Regarding payment, after you place your order a one-off establishment fee of $215.50 will be added to your rates account and is in addition to your annual Waste Service Charge of $425.
Note - The City does not supply bins to commercial properties.
