Wanneroo Secondary College, Clarkson Community High School, Girrawheen Senior High School, Mindarie Senior College, Yanchep District High School and Butler College will each receive more than $6,800.

Twenty seven teams enjoyed the corporate day at Carramar Golf Course on Thursday and the staff golf day was held on Wednesday at Marangaroo Golf Course, with all money raised helping to secure the positions of school chaplains.

Mayor Tracey Roberts said chaplaincy programs in public schools are very important and ensure teenagers, together with their families have the support they need.

"This year's event has raised an incredible amount, and sincere thanks are extended to all participants who generously support the Charity Golf Day. This event has raised a total of $486,000 over the years," Mayor Roberts said.
