Have your say on the City’s future

The City of Wanneroo is calling on residents to help shape its future by reviewing the City’s Strategic Community Plan 2020 – 2030 (SCP).

The plan outlines the City’s vision and aspirations for the next decade and sets out the key strategies to achieve them.

Mayor Tracey Roberts encouraged the community to have their say on the plan to help make Wanneroo a place where people want to live and work, now and into the future.

“Our City is one of the largest and fastest growing local government areas, with three wards, 36 suburbs and many local communities with different needs and aspirations,” she said.

“With our population expected to double in the next 20 years, we need a roadmap to support continued growth, connect our communities and enhance the liveability of our vibrant, active, progressive and inclusive City.

“By having a say on the plan, our residents, businesses and community groups will be helping us to deliver infrastructure, programs and services that meet the immediate and longer-term needs of our diverse community.”
