Three matches will be featured on the day, with a Colts/Reserves scratch match kicking off at 9.10am, Futures versus South West (14-15 year-olds) at 11.40am and the main feature, the West Coast and West Perth showdown, at 2.10pm.

Splendid Park will also play host to children’s entertainment, community activities and food trucks to make it a fun day out for the whole community.

Wanneroo Mayor, Tracey Roberts, said it was very exciting to be hosting the first WAFL match at Splendid Park, in what will be a great day for football fans and families.

“As the Vice-Patron of West Perth Football Club, but also a staunch West Coast fan, my loyalties may be somewhat divided on the day, but the real winner will be regional football, with many junior and community footballers able to get close to the action,” she said.

Splendid Park is a multi-purpose sporting complex that officially opened in March 2018. The active open space includes two multi-purpose ovals, two multi-purpose hardcourts, cricket nets, athletics fields, floodlighting, playground and a newly-constructed skate park.
