Notice of Proposal to Make a Local Law - Standing Orders Local Law 2021

The City of Wanneroo is in the process of updating its local laws. It is intended to make a new Standing Orders Local Law 2021.

STANDING ORDERS LOCAL LAW 2021

The purpose of the proposed Standing Orders Local Law is to provide for the orderly conduct of the proceedings and business of the Council.

The effect is that all council and committee meetings as described in the Local Government Act 1995, shall be governed by the Standing Orders Local Law 2021 unless otherwise provided in the Local Government Act 1995, the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996 or other written law.

Submissions about the proposed law (marked for the attention of Governance) can be emailed to enquiries@wanneroo.wa.gov.au, mailed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Wanneroo, Locked Bag 1 WANNEROO WA 6946 or made in person at the City of Wanneroo Civic Centre, 23 Dundebar Road Wanneroo by 4:00pm on Monday, 4 October 2021.
