Nothing says Australian summer like a trip to the outdoor cinema. You can enjoy the experience for free thanks to the City of Wanneroo's Live in the Amphitheatre presented by Telstra Store Wanneroo.
Throughout the month of February, on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, City residents and guests can enjoy 12 fantastic films under the stars in the City's own Jacaranda Amphitheatre.
The four week long cinema program will feature a mix of blockbuster, family friendly and classic titles including special themed films on Valentine's Day and Friday 13.
See the first Taken film at our action night before you catch the third instalment of the blockbuster series. There will also be a special ladies' night with a screening of Mean Girls.
You are encouraged to embrace the pre-show atmosphere with surprise activities planned at some screenings including face painting and live music. Gourmet popcorn and light refreshments are available to purchase onsite and you are also welcome to pack a picnic.
Screenings are free, but tickets and ID to show you are a City of Wanneroo resident are essential. Children under 12 do not require a ticket. There is a maximum of two tickets per email address.
Gates open from 6pm with screenings starting at approximately 7.30pm when the sun sets. For the full program and specific ticket release dates please visit the website.
The first round of tickets will be released to residents on Monday 19 January, general public Friday 30 January.
