Kingsway playground gets a facelift

New playground equipment is being installed at Kingsway regional sporting complex as part of the City of Wanneroo's 2014/2015 park asset renewal program.

Mayor Tracey Roberts said the City was committed to providing high quality facilities to the community and Kingsway was enjoyed by many local families.

The playground is situated near the rugby playing field on the southern side of duck pond and is one of five playground areas at Kingsway.

The new equipment, which opens to the community on Monday 23 February, includes climbing frames, a slide and sand softfall and cost $21,000.
