Dog’s Breakfast is back in 2017 hosting exclusively dog-related exhibitors, activities and competitions to delight all dog lovers and their four-legged friends.

Dog's Breakfast 2017

The outdoor family event will feature close to 40 exhibitors showcasing local products, services and an extensive range of activities, all for the furry pals.

“Dog’s Breakfast is a highlight on the City’s events calendar and this year will see hundreds of residents descend on Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex to enjoy an exciting family day out,” Mayor Tracey Roberts said.

“Both dogs and their owners love this event because of the large range of things to experience throughout the day, from the free vet checks to fun competitions.”

Children will also be entertained with a range of free attractions including face painting, a bouncy castle and a pooch-friendly photo booth.

For the dogs, this year’s event will feature washing and grooming services, doggy treats from a range of exhibitors, and free microchipping for the first 100 dog attendees, thanks to WA Pet Project.

Exhibitors will have a huge range of goods and services on offer including pet accessories, photography services, house sitting and doggy day care information.

Competitions including Australia’s Next Top Dog Model, My Dog’s Got Talent and Pooch Look-A-Likes are sure to get a laugh. More than $3,000 of prizes are up for grabs for the dogs that can best strut their stuff.

The entertainment will continue with activity centres for doggy flower crown creations, along with sheep shearing demonstrations from Syd and Kim from the bush.
