Looking to learn how to ride, but not sure where to start?
The WOW Introductory Learn to Ride Program consists of 4 weeks of workshops to introduce women who have no experience of bike riding, covering all the beginner topics and aims to progress you through being confident to continue once the program ceases. Bikes will be provided by Bicycles 4 Humanity, and helmet safety checks will also be provided.

The sessions will cover the following topics:
- Preparing to ride – what to wear and carry, positioning on the bike.
- Skill assessment and development – braking, balancing, cornering/turning, scanning.
- Traffic awareness – developing the skills and etiquette of riding on paths and roads.
- Basic bike maintenance
- Bike Path Etiquette Guide and Recreational Riding Route maps/resources will be provided to participants.
