Outdoor cinema back for 2016

Published Tuesday, 19th January 2016

Live in the Amphitheatre, the free outdoor cinema series hosted by the City, is set to return this February thanks to the overwhelming success of last year’s event.

Live in the Amphitheatre
Bring a picnic to the City of Wanneroo’s Jacaranda Amphitheatre, kick back and relax under the stars as you watch one of your favourite films on the big screen.

Presented by Telstra Store Wanneroo, the cinema program will be shown throughout February on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Family friendly films, blockbusters and classic movies will be up on the big screen over the four weeks.

Highlights from the program include Pixar animated film Inside Out and comedy Pitch Perfect 2.

Light refreshments such as popcorn will be available to purchase. Gates open at 6pm and screenings will start at around 7:30pm when the sun sets.
Tickets will be available exclusively to City of Wanneroo residents from 9am Monday, 18 January 2016. If not sold out, the remaining tickets will open to the general public at 9am Friday, 22 January 2015.

It is free to attend the screenings but ID proof that you are a City of Wanneroo resident must be presented at the gate. A maximum of four adult tickets per email address are available. Children under 12 require a child’s ticket. For more information and to check the full cinema program, go online at wanneroo.wa.gov.au/lita.
