Proposed Addition to Educational Establishment (New Learning Block) at 10 Joseph Banks Boulevard, Banksia Grove - DA2021//526 (JDAP)

The above-mentioned development application is currently being advertised for public comment until 27 April 2021.

The application proposes Additions to an existing Educational Establishment (Joseph Banks Secondary College) at Lot 819 (40) Joseph Banks Boulevard, Banksia Grove. The proposal comprises of the following:

  • A new two storey Teaching and Learning Block with car parking facilities located in the south-western corner of the site;
  • Removal of two existing transportable classrooms from the site, and the relocation of four transportable classrooms to the existing school oval. At completion of the new building works, the four transportable classrooms will be removed;
  • Two new 'left turn in’ pockets to assist with access to the school; and
  • The facilitation of up to 2000 students
