Join the City of Wanneroo and your neighbours in planting for a greener future at our free National Tree Day community planting event.
National Tree Day is a call to action for all Australians to put their hands in the earth and give back to their community. Each year, about 300,000 people volunteer their time to engage in environmental activities that educate individuals about the world around them. It's a day to venture outdoors and get to know your community, and most importantly, to have fun!
Join us at Broadside Park to plant approximately 200 trees and tube stock and help make your suburb a greener and more liveable place.
Please bring your own gardening gloves, wear closed-in shoes, a hat and sunscreen.
A light lunch will be provided.
RSVPs are essential. For more information or to register, please contact the City's Conservation Team on 9405 5000 or email: conservationmaint@wanneroo.wa.gov.au.
