The Wanneroo Regional Gallery is proud to present a collection of works from one of the 20th century's most influential artists, Andy Warhol.
The Andy Warhol works are a long-term loan from the National Gallery of Australia with support from the Australian Government as part of Sharing the National Collection initiative. The partnership will see the Wanneroo Regional Gallery display over 50 artworks by Andy Warhol over a two-year period from March 2024, with a small selection of pieces on display and rotated every three months.
A new, discrete selection of Warhol's Flowers series will be on display from 11 September, along with a larger-than-life painting of Elvis.
These works will be exhibited in a small section of the Gallery alongside the City’s main exhibition, Mariw Minaral: Alick Tipoti, followed by Walking through a Songline.
