Clarkson Library closure

Clarkson Library will be closed for lighting upgrades from 27 October to 10 November.

During this time, we will be maintaining some important services and regular programs, while some services will be unavailable for the two-week period.

Available services 

The following services will be available throughout the closure, accessed via the automatic doors located on Ocean Keys Boulevard. Please note there will be no access via car park side entrance.

  • City services – The City services desk located within Clarkson Library will be fully operational throughout the closure. Rates payments can be made in person at the City services desk, or online via our new payment portal.
  • Printing – Printing services will also be available as usual, via a counter near the City services desk.
  • Returns – Items can be returned via the external chute, located to the right of the Ocean Keys Boulevard entrance.
  • Justice of the Peace (JP) service – JP service will be available from 9am to 11am, Saturdays 1 October and 8 November in the meeting room next to the City services desk.

Kids programs

The following programs will continue in the meeting room next to the City services desk, for the duration of the closure. Space is limited, so bookings will be essential during this time.

  • It's All About Play – 9am, Mondays 27 October and 3 November.
  • It’s All About Stories – 10.30am, Tuesdays 28 October and 4 November.
  • It’s All About Rhymes – 10.30am, Wednesdays 29 October and 5 November.

Unavailable services 

Public PC use, loan services, social and community group meetings, adult programs and afternoon programs will be paused during this two-week period.

Please note, Wanneroo, Girrawheen and Yanchep/Two Rocks libraries are open and accessible as per usual during this time.
