Online rates payment portal
The City’s online rates payment portal is the quickest and easiest way to pay and manage your rates with a range of flexible options to suit your circumstances.
Using the portal, you can:
- Set up automatic payments for your two or four instalment options
- Pay the balance gradually with weekly, fortnightly or monthly payment
- Make a one-off credit card payment
- Get email or SMS reminders
- Check your current balance
Please note: Your 2025/26 rate notices and information will be available in the platform from late August.

Other ways to pay
If you prefer not to use the online portal, you can pay using one of the following methods:
BPAY | Use the biller code 35410 and your reference number. |

In person | Pay by EFTPOS, cash or cheque at any Australia Post Office or at the following City of Wanneroo locations:

Detach your rates notices slip and make cheque payable to:
City of Wanneroo, Locked Bag 1, Wanneroo, WA 6946 Retain the top portion of notice as your record as no receipt will be issued. |
Important: All credit card payments incur a 0.22% surcharge. Payments made after 6pm AEST (Melbourne or Sydney time), or on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.

*Please note: To qualify for instalments, your first payment must be made on or before this date.
Financial assistance and support
If you’re having trouble meeting due dates, contact us to apply for a special payment arrangement or check if you’re eligible for support under the City’s financial hardship policy. To discuss your options or apply, call us on (08)9405 5000 or complete the online form.
If your rates or Emergency Services Levy aren’t paid by the due date, interest may apply. Rates are charged at 5% per year and the Emergency Services Levy at 11%, both in line with State Government legislation.
Rebates and concessions
If you hold a valid seniors or pensioners concession card, you may be eligible for a State Government rates concession or rebate. Find out more about rates concessions.
