The City of Wanneroo’s Aquamotion has been recognised for their high quality professional development at a national swimming convention.

The annual Australia Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association (ASCTA) awards recognise swimming coaches and water safety teachers who have achieved or contributed significantly to the aquatics industry.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said the award was a credit to Aquamotion’s team of instructors who are leaders in their field.
“I am extremely proud of the entire swim school team,” Mayor Roberts said.
“This is a well-deserved result and a great achievement for the Swim School team and the City of Wanneroo,” she said.
“The award is a clear reflection of the quality and content of the swim school’s expertise, dedication and ongoing professional development.
“The swim school is supported by all at Aquamotion and it is wonderful to see this outstanding team effort recognised with such a prestigious award.”
The award was presented by Olympic gold medallist and world record breaker, Jessicah Schipper on behalf of Swim Australia.
Aquamotion is a Swim Australia credited school and share their mission to help all Australians become safer, smarter and stronger through swimming.
