City of Wanneroo Heritage List
The City of Wanneroo is required to prepare and maintain a Heritage List under Part 3, clause 8 of the Deemed Provisions of District Planning Scheme No. 2 (DPS2) and the Heritage Bill 1990 (WA).
The Heritage List contains all places that are assigned a management category of 1A, 1 or 2 in the City of Wanneroo Local Heritage Survey (LHS).
If a development proposal has the potential to impact a place on the Heritage List, the application will be put out for public consultation and referred to the Heritage Council for comment.
The LHS is currently under review, and once finalised may result in changes to the City’s Heritage List in the near future. The City must consult with all owners of land containing heritage listed places before making any changes to the City’s Heritage List.
