The Clarkson Youth Hub has been designed as a welcoming space for young people to connect and access valuable services and programs, demonstrating the City’s commitment to creating a vibrant meeting space in the northern corridor.
The $1.6 million project includes a new lounge area and function room, kitchen spaces, accessible toilet facilities and meeting rooms with smart technology.
The upgrades were made possible thanks to funding of $1 million through the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program, and $500,000 from Lotterywest.
A range of function rooms, meeting rooms and offices are available for youth organisations and groups to hire for one-off events and workshops, as well as regular programs and services.
